Away we go .....

Flight to Vietnam

Vietnam is 14 hours ahead of California.  We left LAX around midnight on Sunday.  It took 14 hours to get to Taipei, Taiwan.  We had a 3 hour layover and arrived in Hanoi, Vietnam around 1100 am.  It was a long travel period, but we made it!  I am jealous of Fen because he could sleep in a hurricane, so he was able to get some rest, but me

not so much.

The airline we flew was EVA Airlines and it was pretty decent.  We had plenty of space, individual tv controls, a care package with headset, slippers, pillows, tooth brush/paste, chapstick and LEGIT blankets.  

When we arrived in Hanoi we were met by our tour guide and were off and running.
