Chu Chi Tunnels

The tunnel system used by the Viet Cong outside Saigon was quite sophisticated.  It’s about 75 kilometers outside Saigon aka Ho Chi Min City.  It allowed the Viet Cong to launch attacks against the US and South Vietnamese Army. 
The tunnel system was dug by hand and went 3 tiers underground and was the main headquarters 
For the Viet Cong.  When it was discovered the US uncovered millions of documents of  military strategy as well as plans to assassinate the Defense Secretary Robert McNamera.

Our last night in Vietnam was hilarious.  We went to dinner at a local restaurant with Halena’s friends.  On the menu was goat and beer.  I passed, but some of the gang tried it and said it tasted like beef.  Fen said it was chewy and he wasn’t a fan.  After dinner we went to sing karaoke.   FUN NIGHT!!
