The Dogs

Well, it’s true, it’s very  common to eat dogs in Vietnam, but primarily in the north.  Today we spent the day in Sapa which is located in the north near the China border.  We were very fortunate to be able to take an 8 to 9 mile hike through several Hmong villages.  There were dogs all over and they appeared to be family pets.  I choose to believe that’s the norm, because I can’t imagine people eating these adorable animals.
